Smith’s new film chronicles the life of Hoyt Richards, who at the age 16 meets an eccentric Manhattan socialite named Frederick Von Mierers on the beach in Nantucket and soon becomes enmeshed in his spiritual group Eternal Values while simultaneously rising to fame as the first male supermodel of the 1980’s.
