January 10th | Uncle David visits New York to help Sam begin the demolition at the new house (images of the house to be posted, soon, on a separate site). The nice glow on these first few photos is from all the plaster dust on the camera lense (no, it wasn't a romantic 'soft-focus filter!'). In the last shot of this first block of photos, Sasha wears his Soccer Pj's for Grandpa Mickey... : )

Sasha has grown skilled at staying in a sitting position.
Lisa introduces him to the toy piano. bang. ring. bang. ring. bang....
black tape for a blue girl's newest member! : )

Sasha hanging out at a cafe in Park Slope, Brooklyn, early February. This is near our new house. Everyone comments about how Sasha looks much older than he is. In these shots, he's 7.5 months... but that thin face of his makes him look like a kid. A woman on the train recently commented what delicate features Sasha has. Other people just say what a cutie he is. "Waitress, can I get a warm-up on my coffee?"

Back home on the Mexican blanket on the living room floor.
