October 27 2002 | On Saturday, we invited friends to meet us in Brooklyn's Prospect Park for a pre-Halloween picnic (located about a half mile from the house we are purchasing in Windsor Terrace... the house Sasha is going to grow up in). It was a nice afternoon with perfect weather (sunny, low 60s) at a beautiful spot that Lisa staked out during the week. Much like the Goth Talk Skit, we didn't expect quite as many sports enthusiasts in the background. Yet under the arched trees, we had snacks with friends and some other babies, too. [Sasha didn't sleep the entire time, really! We just didn't seem to get any snaps when he was awake.]


It's quite dark - even though only 5pm, daylight savings time just began - and everyone is a bit cold, but we couldn't stop nibbling at that apple butter and snacks.

After the picnic, Sasha, Sam + Lisa we went out with "Aunt" Ioana for Thai food in Park Slope. With some people Sasha is a bit shy but he's very comfortable in Ioana's arms... Somehow, we always manage to forget to take pictures with Lisa in them. We will rectify that in the future.
