Ninetynine indeed isn't what you would expect from the band, considering their more harsh industrial (dance) presented on previous releases. However, the same high quality of work expected by Haujobb does exist with this release, it's just of a different nature and direction -- more gentle melody, the use of female vocals serenading us, much more drum & bass movements, and definitely more minimalist overall.
Overall the music is subtle, quiet, minimalist, a little jazzy and ambient, drum, bass, synth-experimental and rather peaceful. Haujobb really went off with this release, but in a new and tasty direction. There are quite a few excellent tracks on Ninety-nine for that *laid back* kind of listening.
