Projekt.com ordering options.
Currently there are two different ways to place your order.

1. On-Line. This is the simplest method and the way we do 90% of our sales. This is for shoppers using PayPal, Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover Card to place secure on-line orders at Projekt.com. Search through the album pages within our store and when you find something you'd like, click on the Add To Cart icon. When you have everything you want, click on the cart button in the upper right "tools" area. It will take you through the checkout process and soon you will have your order.

Sorry, we can not accept Visa Electron cards.

2. Mailorder. This method is for people who are ordering with checks or money orders. Click to the Mailorder page for full details.

Here are answers to the FAQs on ordering from Projekt.com:

Is the Projekt website secure?
Yes. All online transactions are protected with 1024-bit public-key encryption via SSL. When you first add an item to our "cart," you'll notice the web site address changes from the usual "http://www.projekt.com" address, to "https://www.projekt.com" -- this shows that you are connected to a secure server. When you submit your order, the transaction is encrypted, and your information is then stored in a scrambled format on the server. Later, we log into our password-secured area to get your order. This added security and encryption prevents your credit card information from being intercepted.

How long will my order take?
We strive to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Orders generally take about 7 to 10 business days to get to you from the date you place it on-line. If you have waited longer than 2 weeks for your order you may wish to contact us by emailing: ( shea@projektNOSPAM.com Please remove "NOSPAM" from the address. ). Tell her your full name and confirmation number, she will get back to you promptly with more information.

How do I buy a Projekt.com gift certificate, redeem a gift certificate or use store credit?
A Projekt.com gift certificate is a gift that can't go wrong! You can purchase a gift certificate in any denomination at
PROgift.. Let us know the gift certificate's value in the "comments" area at the end of the check-out process. We adjust your order total by hand so if you are paying with PayPal for a gift certificate please don't pay us until we email you with an updated total.

The same information applies when you redeem a gift certificate or store credit at Projekt.com in conjunction with PayPal:
paypal
We accept PayPal for domestic and international orders.
Using a Credit or Gift Certificate with PayPal?
Our PayPal shoppers often have trouble with this. If you are paying with PayPal in conjunction with a Credit or Gift Certificate:
1. Fill up your cart with goodies
2. In the "comments" area of the check-out process let us know your gift certificate or credit number.
3. We adjust your order total by hand so:
4. If you are paying with PayPal, please don't pay us until we email you with an updated total.

Basically: if your check out involves a Credit or Gift Certificate don't pay us till you get an email with your correct total.

If your PayPal order does not involve a Credit or Gift Certificate, pay as usual, following the instructions in the check out process.

What is your Return Policy?
All sales are considered final. Defective items can be exchanged for an identical item within 30 days of purchase. If something is missing from your order, please let us know immediately (believe it or not, some people wait 8 months to tell us that somthing was missing). Please contact us before attempting a return and receive a Return Authorization. We will not accept any unauthorized returns or exchanges. The customer must pay for the returned item's shipping costs -- we will pay for the replacement item's shipping cost. When returning an item, please include a copy of any correspondence with us and please be sure to include your full name and address on your correspondence.

Why Chose Fed Ex Ground over Priority Mail?
If you are having problems with your mail delivery, then consider using Fed Ex Ground instead. Fed Ex shipments are automatically insured; Priority Mail is not (if a priority mail package is lost, we do not replace it). Fed Ex requires that somebody be at your delivery address to sign for the package. Fed Ex has a habit of leaving boxes without signatures, so if you don't think you will be home to receive the package, consider having it delivered to your work address or parent's house.

I am an overseas customer, are there special instructions for me?
Yes, there are. Follow this link to our Foreign Customer Page.

What if the item I want is out of stock?
When an item is out of stock, the item page will state This item is currently out of stock. There is a link where you can email us, and we will update you when the item is back. We do not backorder, so if we are out of something please try reordering the item at a later date.

What about items I remember seeing in your old printed catalog?
The items listed on this website are what we currently carry. If you have a question about an item in one of our older mail-order catalogs, email ( shea@projektNOSPAM.com Please remove "NOSPAM" from the address. ) to discuss availability.

What if I live outside of the U.S.A. or Canada?
Of course we ship orders to our overseas customers. However, due to increasing credit card fraud we have new policies that you should review on our Foreign Customer Page

I just got my latest order and I was surprised to see that 3 out of the 4 cd's I ordered were open. I have never seen a new one that was not shrinkwrapped. I'm just wondering what's up with this?
Shea replies: "Not to worry, some of the cds come to us un-shrinkwrapped. Many from foreign labels come to us without jewel cases to save on postage, and when they arrive I take the parts and 'make' the cd for you. We don't shrinkwrap them after that, because it would just make more junk to fill the landfill. Also, there are just too many of them, and frankly, the shrinkwrapper gives off these really nasty fumes that make me a little sick to the stomach :) Occasionaly, a shrinkwrapped cd has a cracked jewel case, and I'll open it up and replace it. That way, you end up with a unshrinkwrapped unbroken jewel case instead of a shrinkwrapped broken case. I can assure you that all of our cds are new; we do not sell used merchandise. Enjoy the music!"

Thanks. I hope that helped. If not, email ( shea@projektNOSPAM.com Please remove "NOSPAM" from the address. ) and she'll get your questions answered.
