Lovesliescrushing push the envelope of sound and music altogether farther afield than it has ever been before. There's some pretty wild territory out there. This album is as far as you can deliver music into the realm of pure noise, let it go, and still have it find its way out alive and relatively unharmed. Along the way, terms like ether-bliss and beautiful noise are redefined and bands like My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive scratch their heads and wonder how this unknown Arizona band beat them to it. The most remarkable thing is that lovesliescrushing make it all sound so compelling and (call me crazy) truly beautiful. In a word: wondrous!!!

When listening to Loveliescrushing music, three band's names cross my mind: My Bloody Valentine because of the band's experimental approach, Slowdive because of the saturated ethereal noise they produce (although Slowdive seems to have taken recently on a much more ambient musical direction), and His Name is Alive because of the way in which this album is structured (20 tracks with some much shorter than the others and making a sort of transition between the longer ones). And it is that very ability of the band to combine these three factors that gives this particular sound and aspect to this record. Loveliescrushing's music is based on an ethereal noises's experiementation and innovation that pushes the band much in front of the others.
